The Senior Manager Sales Operations plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the administration of sales systems within the organization. This position is tasked with overseeing financial reporting on all sales data for assigned business segments and providing strategic consultation for initiatives that impact revenue growth for customers. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing a comprehensive data strategy, creating a roadmap, and leading the initiation, planning, design, and implementation of various components and integrations within the sales system architecture. In addition to sales system administration, the Senior Manager will provide specialized expertise in delivering critical information for decision-making across all organizational levels. This includes collaborating with senior business management to understand their information needs and managing relationships with consultants to translate those needs into actionable system capabilities. The role requires the ability to create innovative solutions that align business needs with system capabilities, establish standards and governance for data integration, and ensure data integrity throughout the customer lifecycle. The position also involves significant responsibilities in sales reporting, where the Senior Manager will coordinate monthly sales reporting for various stakeholders, including the sales team, sales leadership, finance, and executive leadership. They will provide strategic guidance on revenue-generating activities based on sales data and support the annual budgeting process. Additionally, the Senior Manager will facilitate performance reviews and manage the Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) process to ensure compliance and accuracy in sales reporting. As a key liaison to all sales channels and functional areas, the Senior Manager will manage account and territory processes, support monthly forecasting, and evaluate automation tools to enhance revenue generation and retention activities. Training and developing direct reports is also a critical aspect of this role, ensuring that the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
