About the position

The Sales Ops & Eblmt - Sr Mgr position at Verizon is a leadership role within the Value Indirect Field organization, responsible for managing operations and performance for Total Wireless and Authorized Retail locations. This role involves establishing new processes, leading a team of consultants, and making strategic decisions to enhance the effectiveness of the Indirect Value Field Organization. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to drive expansion and profitability, utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team owning operations, support, and processes for the Value Indirect field organization.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to develop and execute a field team organizational strategy.
  • Make decisions for day-to-day business needs and long-term strategic decisions in partnership with channel leadership.
  • Oversee and coordinate end-to-end ownership of complex organizational initiatives to drive expansion and profitability.
  • Develop performance analytics dashboards using Tableau and SQL.
  • Create and manage reporting to support the Value Indirect field team and drive productivity.
  • Leverage data analytics to focus on KPI attainment at the region/territory level.
  • Scope, define, and introduce field support processes while identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Own organizational initiatives and create senior executive level presentations using data insights.
  • Implement leadership governance related to key strategic initiatives and team functioning.
  • Lead cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with channel priorities.
  • Deliver high-quality work that meets intended criteria, goals, and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and leadership.
  • Travel to key strategic markets to support Field Sales Directors and Teams.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Program and/or project management experience.
  • Experience with data analysis (SQL, Excel, and other tools).
  • Experience with business intelligence (Tableau).
  • Willingness to travel approximately up to 50% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • An MBA or an M.S. in a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Experience leading people.
  • Experience working with external partners and/or vendors.
  • Expert level experience using Excel, Tableau, and/or Google automation.
  • Advanced SQL and/or other database programming language experience.
  • Advanced executive presentation skills including creating content and associated backup materials.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing roles and responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player orientation collaborating well with others.
