About the position

The Senior Manager of Sales Operations at Verizon is responsible for establishing and leading the new Indirect Value field operations organization. This role involves hiring a team of consultants, developing end-to-end processes, and making strategic decisions to support Total Wireless and Authorized Retail channels. The position requires collaboration with leadership to drive operational objectives and enhance profitability through data analytics and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team owning operations, support, and processes for the Value Indirect field organization.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to develop and execute a field team organizational strategy.
• Make decisions for day-to-day business needs and long-term strategic decisions in partnership with channel leadership.
• Oversee and coordinate complex organizational initiatives to drive expansion and profitability of Total Wireless stores.
• Develop performance analytics dashboards using Tableau and SQL.
• Create and manage reporting to support the Value Indirect field team and drive productivity.
• Leverage data analytics to focus on KPI attainment at the region/territory level.
• Scope, define, and introduce field support processes while identifying risks and opportunities.
• Own organizational initiatives and create senior executive level presentations using data insights.
• Develop and implement leadership governance related to key strategic initiatives.
• Lead cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with channel priorities.
• Deliver high-quality work that meets intended criteria and objectives.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and leadership.
• Travel to key strategic markets to support Field Sales Directors and Teams.

Requirements

• Six or more years of relevant experience in operations or sales support.
• Program and/or project management experience.
• Experience with data analysis using SQL, Excel, and other tools.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau.
• Willingness to travel approximately up to 50% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

• An MBA or an M.S. in a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Experience leading teams.
• Experience working with external partners and/or vendors.
• Expert level experience using Excel, Tableau, and/or Google automation.
• Advanced SQL and/or other database programming language experience.
• Advanced executive presentation skills.
