About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales & Partner Enablement at Equinix is responsible for leading a team focused on creating effective global enablement solutions for sales, channel, technical sales, customer success, and revenue operations. This role emphasizes instructional design best practices and innovation, requiring a deep understanding of Equinix's business and market landscape. The manager will oversee the development of scalable learning solutions that drive measurable business impact and foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of instructional designers in the design, development, and execution of scalable learning solutions.
  • Identify and implement innovative enablement processes and learning solutions.
  • Review design and development documents to ensure optimal learning engagement and assessment.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify learning needs and content relevancy.
  • Collaborate with GTM Readiness leaders on priorities and instructional design approaches.
  • Enhance instructional design methodology and identify new design practices and tools.
  • Manage a portfolio of enablement projects as an instructional designer.
  • Facilitate training sessions for various group sizes.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
  • Build a high-performing team through active coaching.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enablement roles such as sales, revenue, or customer enablement.
  • Minimum of 5 years working with sales, channel, or customer success teams.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing design and authoring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable concepts.
  • Track record of scoping and executing enablement programs.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and growth-oriented.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
