About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales Support and Operations at Micron Technology is a leadership role focused on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization. This position involves optimizing sales processes, managing a team of business process owners, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of implementing change management strategies to boost productivity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain process maps to streamline sales support activities and improve overall sales efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes, improve data integrity, and boost overall sales performance.
  • Support field sales during customer audits by coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Drive process optimization and coordinate process deployment to make the sales organization more agile and mobile.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Foster an environment that supports the integration and utilization of Generative AI within Micron.
  • Work with sales teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into efficient systemic solutions.
  • Provide effective leadership to a team of business process re-engineers, guiding them through necessary change management activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower team members to reach their full potential, conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to facilitate professional development.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing customer feedback and developing strategies to improve service and retention.

Requirements

  • Experience with key sales processes, including revenue management, demand creation, samples, case management, and opportunity management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive organizational change.
  • Experience managing a team of business process re-engineers and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to sell ideas internally and train/support users.
