As a Senior Manager in the SASE Finance team, you will play a crucial role in building and delivering on our financial plans, supporting strategic decision-making, and providing financial insights that drive operational rigor and efficiency. You will report directly to the Director of SASE Finance and collaborate with various teams across the organization, including Sales, Sales Operations, Go-To-Market, and Product teams. Your analytical skills, organizational abilities, and communication prowess will be essential in enabling process improvements and insights across key FP&A areas. In this role, you will be responsible for developing SaaS metrics, refining existing KPIs, and designing new ones that are relevant to the business. You will support key SASE financial metrics such as ARR, Bookings, Revenue, Margins, Renewal rates, and Customer Lifetime Value by building financial models in Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or other systems like Anaplan. Your ability to create compelling visual presentations will be vital for our monthly and quarterly performance review decks, as well as custom business presentations for senior management. You will also have the opportunity to provide actionable insights and recommendations through data analysis, collaborating cross-functionally to improve metrics alignment, consistency, data integrity, and automation. Additionally, you will drive and support ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses, making a significant impact on the organization’s financial health and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop SaaS metrics, refining existing and designing new KPIs to analyze trends and changes versus industry benchmarks.
  • Support all key SASE financial metrics, including ARR, Bookings, Revenue, Margins, Renewal rates, and Customer Lifetime Value by building financial models.
  • Architect visual presentations for monthly and quarterly performance review decks and custom business presentations to senior management.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations through data analysis, digging deeper into the business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Theater finance, IT, Customer Success, Sales Ops, GTM, and Product teams to improve metrics alignment and data integrity.
  • Drive and provide support for ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Finance or Accounting, with increasing responsibility; prior investment banking experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
  • Diversity of experience and exposure to a wide range of complex business models.
  • Application SaaS and Software industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of a four-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/Master's degree preferred or equivalent military experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Executive presence and excellent presentation skills, including the ability to develop and present financial plans concisely.
  • Strong leadership and team player who thrives in cross-functional and global environments.
  • Ability to effectively influence or mediate differing opinions at all levels of the organization.
  • Exercises good judgment and makes well-informed decisions.
  • Ability to be both a leader and hands-on 'doer'.
  • Translates data into actionable information; experience with SQL, R, or Python is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Excel, and experience with financial systems and data visualization tools.
  • Proven track record of setting priorities, managing expectations, and delivering on commitments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience merging, enhancing, and analyzing large data sets utilizing technologies such as SQL, R, or Python.
