About the position

The Senior Manager of Total Search at CVS Health is responsible for leading the Search Marketing Center of Excellence, focusing on developing and executing a comprehensive search strategy to drive business results across various channels. This role emphasizes leveraging data and analytics to enhance retail performance, including sales, prescriptions, and health service adoption. The Senior Manager will orchestrate large-scale SEM programs, influence senior stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize search marketing strategies and drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Search Marketing Center of Excellence to develop a total search strategy.
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive retail results such as incremental sales and health service adoption.
  • Orchestrate large-scale SEM programs and optimize them using rigorous analytics.
  • Evaluate search marketing strategies to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Develop business cases to support increased investment in search channels.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and demonstrate the value of search campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Omnichannel Marketing Strategy and Ecommerce teams to drive digital growth.
  • Manage a cross-functional team and agency partners to execute strategies effectively.
  • Develop measurement plans for campaigns to ensure accountability and measurability.
  • Build relationships with business owners and marketing partners to align search strategies with their goals.

Requirements

  • 7 years of paid search experience with a focus on results-oriented programs.
  • 7 years of experience with SEM tools, including Google & Microsoft Ads, SA360, and Adobe.
  • 2 years of people-management experience.
  • Ability to work onsite 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs).

  • Proven track record of developing innovative data-driven search strategies.
  • Deep expertise in search, data, and analytics.
  • Experience with automation, search audiences, and privacy regulations.
  • Familiarity with Media Mix Modeling and Multi-Touch Attribution.
  • Knowledge of SEO or holistic search strategy.
