About the position

The Senior SEO Manager at CVS Health will lead the organic search efforts to enhance search visibility and drive site traffic and sales. This role requires a blend of strategic and tactical skills, focusing on achieving measurable business results through collaboration with various teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive SEO knowledge and experience in managing large brands, while also fostering cross-functional partnerships to optimize search strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy across core businesses (Front Store, Pharmacy, and Health Services)
• Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and user experience
• Conduct keyword and competitive research to identify new growth opportunities
• Perform regular SEO audits to identify and resolve technical issues
• Own the SEO content strategy, collaborating with internal and external partners to drive measurable impact
• Work cross-functionally with Content Marketing to identify and expose content gaps
• Support Search and SEO Products teams in aligning with best practices
• Collaborate closely with the SEM team to develop a comprehensive search strategy
• Leverage available SEO tools for data analysis and insights generation
• Publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports outlining insights and growth opportunities
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements in search engine algorithms
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SEO
• Lead a small team of in-house or agency SEO professionals
• Inspire and motivate others, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices
• Proven record in managing and optimizing organic search presence for large brands
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO tools
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams
