About the position

The Senior Manager - Social Media & Digital Marketing at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) is responsible for developing and executing the organization's social media strategy. This role focuses on enhancing AAJ's mission through online campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and digital marketing outreach, while managing social media channels effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging social media content daily on various platforms.
  • Manage and execute social media campaigns, ensuring a consistent voice across multiple platforms.
  • Create actionable plans to grow and maintain followers and increase sales.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on social media performance and progress.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar for digital campaigns and social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create diverse content.
  • Monitor AAJ's social media platforms and engage with brand mentions.
  • Develop a unique online persona for AAJ.
  • Manage paid digital advertising campaigns.
  • Edit and create online videos for social media and web.
  • Work with the marketing team to gather metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay updated with current technologies and trends in social media and digital marketing.
  • Maintain photography archives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in digital promotion and social media strategy.
  • Expertise in using social media platforms and management software.
  • Experience in email marketing and digital advertising.
  • Strong writing and copy-editing skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Independent initiative and ability to lead hybrid teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in office software.
  • Creative experience with video-editing and visual design software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital marketing outreach.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools for social media performance measurement.
