This role will focus on driving meaningful business results for The Weather Channel properties through the company’s social media accounts. The Weather Company currently operates on social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit, and we continue to seek emerging platforms that can help grow our fan base and brand. Focused on driving relevance for The Weather Channel brand. Focused on helping the team modernize the way the brand shows up on social media. Knows what is trending or current on social channels and in pop culture. Has a deep and current knowledge of each platform's offerings, how to best utilize influencers, and an eye for compelling and innovative content. Strong business and creative capabilities. You can connect creative elements of storytelling to financial outcomes. Has a start-up mentality and is not afraid to fail fast and iterate. You are motivated to work with ambiguous and fast-changing circumstances as the digital ecosystem evolves. Can-do attitude. Proactive follow-up. Resourceful.
