About the position

David Yurman is seeking a Senior Manager, Social Media to join our dynamic team in New York. This role is pivotal in developing and executing a strategic social media plan that enhances our brand presence, engages our audience, and drives brand awareness, consideration, and conversion. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Content + Social, the Senior Manager will lead a talented team of social media professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams within the Integrated Marketing department to ensure cohesive and compelling brand messaging. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, and will be responsible for creating compelling and viral content that resonates with our target audiences. Strong organizational and communication skills, an eye for digital content, and a passion for trends and culture are essential for success in this role. The Senior Manager will oversee the creation of high-quality, visually stunning content in collaboration with the Creative team, ensuring that all content aligns with our brand's elevated voice, style, and aesthetic. In addition to content creation, the Senior Manager will lead analytics and reporting efforts, tracking social media performance metrics and using data-driven insights to refine strategies. This role also involves maintaining an annual budget and collaborating with various teams to ensure brand consistency across all social media content. The Senior Manager will oversee a minimum of two team members and will play a key role in brainstorming sessions and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Social Media strategy aligned with the brand's luxury image and business goals.
  • Analyze trends and insights to adapt strategies and maximize engagement.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, visually stunning content in collaboration with the Creative team.
  • Lead content governance, scheduling, and taxonomy for all content calendars.
  • Design and execute innovative campaigns that drive brand awareness and conversation.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on Social Media performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and incorporate them into the overall strategy.
  • Maintain the annual budget in collaboration with the Senior Director, Content + Social.
  • Lead communications with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Serve as the point of contact for content production workflow.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to cross-functional projects.
  • Oversee a minimum of two team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Social Media accounts, preferably in luxury, fashion, or high-end lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven track record of successful Social Media campaigns and content creation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Social Media platforms and corresponding algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong creative thinking and ability to develop innovative content ideas.
  • Advanced skills in presenting data and insights in innovative ways for senior leadership.
  • Excellent understanding of social media analytics and ability to derive insights for optimizing content strategies.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Genuine passion for social media and staying updated with industry trends.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to represent the brand's image and values.
