About the position

The Senior Manager, Social Media at Real Chemistry is responsible for leading social media strategies for healthcare clients, integrating organic and paid social efforts. This role involves counseling clients, developing engaging content, and collaborating with creative teams to enhance the patient experience through effective social media campaigns. The position requires a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends, as well as the ability to pivot between creative and analytical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients and internal teams on best practices for social media strategy.
• Develop clear takeaways from scientific articles and translate them into social posts.
• Write engaging social media content for organic and paid campaigns.
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop customized content for social platforms.
• Act as the day-to-day social media lead across healthcare accounts.
• Direct the execution of social media tactics including content development and distribution.
• Interface directly with clients via meetings and email correspondence.
• Maintain knowledge of social media platforms and trends to guide account teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media, ideally in a regulated industry.
• College degree (BA or equivalent).
• Demonstrated proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally.
• Understanding of paid promotion on major social media platforms.
• Highly organized and able to work under limited supervision.
• Experience collaborating effectively as part of an integrated team.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and ability to stay on schedule.
• Proven record of writing and publishing social content.
• Expert in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• Agency experience in a client-facing role preferred.
• Understanding of FDA regulations for biotech and pharma clients preferred.
