About the position

The Senior Manager of Software Development Engineering at CVS Health is responsible for leading engineering teams to create a top-tier consumer experience by managing complex enterprise initiatives in collaboration with Digital Product Managers. This role is crucial in overseeing digital programs that support pharmacy services, generating significant business value and impacting millions of consumers. The position requires a strong digital-first perspective and involves extensive collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization, including marketing, operations, and pharmacy teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams to develop best-in-class consumer experiences.
• Manage complex enterprise initiatives in partnership with Digital Product Managers.
• Oversee digital programs supporting pharmacy services that generate multi-million-dollar business value.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and digital functional teams to drive results in a matrixed environment.
• Guide the integration and validation of complex technology solutions.
• Manage large projects and collaborate with multiple partners across CVS Health.
• Provide executive presence and deliver presentations to diverse teams and senior leaders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 8+ years leading or handling IT application teams
• 8+ years' experience with Java Development
• 3+ years of Angular experience
• 3+ years of actual Agile/Scrum experience

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of PBM Domain experience
• Experience in multiple large-scale implementations in Retail and Pharmacy industries
• Familiarity with all phases of SDLC implementation
• Experience in Interface Design / Configuration and Event Driven process management
• Experience in API and Mobile Development
