About the position

The Sr. Manager of Software Development Engineering at CVS Health is responsible for leading engineering teams to create a top-tier consumer experience. This role focuses on identifying and prioritizing complex enterprise initiatives in collaboration with Digital Product Managers. The position plays a crucial role in overseeing digital programs that support pharmacy initiatives, generating significant business value and impacting millions of consumers. The manager will work closely with various stakeholders and digital functional teams to drive results in a matrixed environment, ensuring the delivery of technology solutions using modern frameworks and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams to develop a best-in-class consumer experience.
• Identify, prioritize, and shape complex enterprise initiatives in partnership with Digital Product Managers.
• Oversee and execute digital programs supporting pharmacy initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and digital functional teams to drive results.
• Manage large projects and coordinate with multiple partners across CVS Health.
• Guide the integration and validation of complex technology solutions.
• Deliver innovative technological improvements and manage the architecture and roadmap.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years leading or handling IT application teams.
• 8+ years' experience with Java Development.
• 3+ years of Angular experience.
• 3+ years of actual Agile/Scrum experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of PBM Domain experience.
• Experience in multiple large-scale implementations in Retail and Pharmacy industries.
• Familiarity with all phases of SDLC implementation.
• Experience in Interface Design / Configuration and Event Driven process management.
• Familiarity with agile processes such as scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe.
• Experience in API and Mobile Development.
