This position involves providing supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training them, mentoring, assigning duties, and building a team-based work environment. You will establish performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations, ensuring diversity awareness within your team. In this role, you will develop innovation strategies, processes, and best practices by leading internal technical teams and partnering with cross-functional teams across the business. You will be responsible for developing assessments of key opportunities, documenting project scopes, and creating long-range plans and project timelines. Your ability to communicate with and influence decision-makers and executives within the organization will be crucial, as will your skill in resolving technology differences across teams through informed discussions. You will lead agile teams for medium-to-large scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements and translating them into technical solutions. This includes gathering requested information such as design documents and product requirements, communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs. You will provide leadership to the project team and support business objectives by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities and address high-priority initiatives. Additionally, you will lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to develop a high-level design by partnering with product management, Web Operations, project management, business, and user experience teams. This involves obtaining cross-function approvals, driving proof-of-concept, and implementing prototypes to validate ideas. To succeed in this role, you should have a true passion for technology, a desire to mentor and lead others, and a strong understanding of architecture and design patterns. Experience with blockchain frameworks is a plus, as is a background in software languages such as Java, along with related technologies like Spring, Kafka, SQL, and Cloud-based solutions.
