Join the Mailchimp Human Assistance team as a Senior Manager, Software Engineering. You will collaborate with many teams in Intuit and contribute to many components in different Business Units. As a Senior Manager, you will lead a team of software engineers, guiding them in the development of customer-driven software products. You will be responsible for creating a shared vision and building strong cross-functional relationships with partners across the business, including Program Management, Business Analysts, and Development Managers. Your leadership will inspire your team to innovate and embrace new ideas that produce outstanding results for our customers. You will also be expected to articulate the product vision and drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen, ensuring that your team is aligned with the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage software engineering teams to deliver customer-driven software products.
  • Create a shared vision and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with partners across the business.
  • Inspire and empower team members to innovate and embrace new ideas.
  • Drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen and articulate the product vision.
  • Foster a collaborative spirit within the team and across the organization.
  • Ensure the team is focused on creating software products that simplify and solve current customer needs.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • 5+ years' experience as a technical leader of software engineering teams delivering customer-driven software products.
  • Demonstrated experience leading positive change and empowering teams.
  • Expertise in the software design/architecture process.
  • Experience in driving 'mobile first' products.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and SaaS technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferably experience working with global teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with artificial intelligence language tools in software development.
