Join the Mailchimp Human Assistance team as a Senior Manager, Software Engineering. In this role, you'll be part of an innovative, high-velocity team that invents and adopts the best-of-breed solutions to create great sales, support, and live experiences for our customers. You will collaborate with many teams in Intuit and contribute to many components in different Business Units. Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our New York, New York or Atlanta, GA offices two or more days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage software engineering teams to deliver customer-driven software products.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
  • Articulate the product vision and drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen.
  • Empower team members and lead by example to bring out the best ideas from engineers.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with partners across the business.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • 5+ years' experience as an established technical leader of software engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading positive change and empowering people.
  • Expertise in the software design/architecture process.
  • Experience in driving 'mobile first' products.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and SaaS technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with global teams.
