About the position

The Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Intuit Mailchimp is responsible for leading the Partnerships Platform and API Core teams. This role focuses on driving the technical strategy and ensuring quality across complex data ingestion capabilities, while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead a dynamic team of engineers in the Partnerships Platform and API Core teams.
• Drive the technical strategy of platform teams with broad impact across Mailchimp's data ingestion capabilities.
• Define quality and excellence in a technically complex environment.
• Participate in and cultivate a culture of direct, compassionate feedback.
• Encourage transparent communication and effective collaboration within the team.
• Coach and mentor team members in decision making and problem solving.
• Work with leadership to drive the technical and strategic roadmap in the API and Partnerships+Integrations space.
• Prioritize and assess the value proposition for deliverables.
• Foster candid conversations around processes and work methodologies.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Cloud Data Infrastructure (GCP / AWS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
