About the position

The Senior Manager of Software Engineering will lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer needs and align with business objectives. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for mentoring team members, managing project timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of software projects.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning or data analytics.
