About the position

The Manager, Software Engineering is responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver innovative technologies that provide data-driven insights in the healthcare sector. This role involves managing a cross-functional team, ensuring alignment with product management, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage & hire a team of five to eight Software Engineers
• Be a hands-on technical leader accountable for delivering value
• Work closely with Product Management to align on outcomes
• Conduct regular check-ins with your team
• Establish and execute on training programs
• Build a team-first mentality
• Responsible for cultivating career growth of team members

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing an Engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• History of delivering software in an Agile framework
• Experience building and maintaining software within AWS
