Our team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience across various technology and digital-led initiatives, including Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise. We are particularly focused on enhancing initiatives like MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney! In this role, you will join the Payment Platform Team, which thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, and humorous environment. As a Senior Manager, you will lead and develop high-performing teams of managers and software engineers, tackling intricate business problems and running high-priority initiatives. You will contribute to the roadmaps and overall technology strategy, making this an excellent opportunity for those interested in a cross-functional role with significant exposure to senior leaders within the company. Your collaboration will extend to Product, Marketing Business, and Strategy Teams, as you lead a large-scale software engineering organization. You will also coach and mentor your team, guiding them in improving customer engagement and standardizing the Payment eco-system. Your responsibilities will include defining frameworks to support business goals through technology, participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, and leading by example in producing maintainable code. You will apply metrics to drive code quality and stability, manage the CAPEX/OPEX budget while ensuring compliance with security requirements, and develop processes to meet business needs. Additionally, you will lead and motivate a team of skilled professionals, fostering an inclusive environment to attract and retain top talent. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams of high-performing managers and software engineers.
• Provide solutions to intricate business problems and run high-priority initiatives.
• Contribute to roadmaps and overall technology strategy.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing Business, and Strategy Teams.
• Facilitate cross-team and cross-channel partnerships on shared platforms.
• Coach and mentor engineers and leaders responsible for the Payment Platform.
• Define frameworks and insights to support business goals through technology.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards are followed.
• Produce extensible and maintainable code as a leading example.
• Apply metrics to drive the quality and stability of the code.
• Build and guide the overall CAPEX/OPEX budget for the portfolio.
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs.
• Lead and manage highly skilled professional leaders and individual contributors.
• Build an inclusive environment to attract, retain, and grow strong talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of technology experience in highly reliable distributed systems and building platforms.
• 8+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead and empower development teams.
• Experience managing large CAPEX/OPEX budgets, planning, and forecasting.
• Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Java and Angular.
• Technical expertise in digital ecosystems including web, mobile, APIs, and NoSQL databases.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
• Experience influencing business and technology leadership to drive positive outcomes.
• Solid understanding of program management principles.
• Experience in agile software development methodologies such as scrum and test-driven approach.
