Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
- Create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company.
- Stay updated on tech trends and experiment with new technologies.
- Mentor other members of the engineering community.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Utilize various programming languages and technologies including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, and AWS tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- At least 4 years of people management experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's Degree
- 9+ years of experience in Java, Python, Go, or Node.js
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 7+ years of people management experience
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
