About the position

We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join Procore's Product and Technology Division. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing and executing the next generation of Procore's Onboarding and Hub web experiences. You will leverage your expertise in areas of Full Stack technologies, User Experience and Product development to improve the Product for all our customers. This Senior Engineering Manager role is a unique opportunity to lead teams of talented purpose driven engineers and transform the people, processes, technology and product to meet the needs of a Global and evolving market. Procore's Onboarding and Hub experiences are the most highly trafficked pages in our web product. These domains drive much of our customer engagement and promote the overall success of our business. Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop engineers dedicated to Procore's Onboarding and Customer Hubs domains, including providing technical leadership, strategy and outlook
  • Develop an ambitious roadmap for projects in collaboration with Product Management
  • Partner with Platform teams to create new innovative products
  • Guide all technical aspects of development, including technical requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and release
  • Mentor and coach engineers within your teams and the broader organization
  • Align with senior engineering and technical leadership regarding organization wide initiatives driving the technology and culture forward

Requirements

  • 8+ years total experience as a Software Engineer
  • 3+ years experience leading multiple teams of varying sizes and timezones
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in leading highly effective engineering teams
  • Ability to coach, provide mentorship and guidance that aids team growth and development
  • Track record of shipping value to customers with high quality
  • Ability to lead large initiatives and evaluate current technical and organizational approaches
  • Experience working remotely and with distributed teams
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
