About the position

As a Senior Manager in the Vehicle Applications & Services Team, you will oversee the design, development, and testing of automotive infotainment application software using C++ and the Altia framework. This role involves managing local teams in Detroit and overseas partners in India, ensuring the timely release of quality software products while embracing agile practices to enhance team capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define a culture, product vision, and set a roadmap for your team.
• Work with a large partner in India to achieve goals on time.
• Develop a plan to reduce investment in India while maintaining successful relationships and investing in other technologies.
• Build a relationship with Google as a senior internal lead.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading engineering teams that develop user-interface software using C++.
• 3+ years of engineering experience with Altia or Qt application development.

Nice-to-haves

• Leadership experience developing and testing automotive infotainment applications for radios and instrument panel clusters.
• Experience working with Automotive Embedded Systems and deploying applications to embedded target systems.
• Leadership experience with ASIL A-D safety compliance.
• High level of understanding of Vehicle Development Process.
• Experience leading global teams.
