About the position

The Senior Manager of Strategic Finance (FP&A) at R2Net will support the Senior Director of FP&A in driving the strategic and financial vision of the organization. This role involves business partnering with support teams, planning for the future, and providing valuable insights to enhance strategic decision-making. The position acts as a key contact for various departments, including Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, and aims to increase shareholder value by setting and achieving challenging financial and non-financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Director of FP&A with overall planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of financial performance.
  • Lead the consolidation of the strategic storyline and total business performance reporting.
  • Provide and manage CAPEX planning with key C-suite members.
  • Lead the development of key business performance reports and respective governance processes.
  • Act as key business partner to Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Product.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance over transformation strategies.
  • Support C-suite over strategic priorities and governance, and respective tracking.
  • Drive governance and process around Annual Planning, integrating driver-based insights.
  • Develop Tableau financial reports, bringing in additional insights and driving actions from the analysis.
  • Facilitate ad-hoc and cross-functional strategic and operational projects.
  • Analyze financial performance vs. plans and forecasts, offering insights and analysis in any gaps in performance.
  • Analyze market share and trends and perform competitive market analysis.
  • Develop competitive financial modeling capabilities.
  • Assist in setting up and improving financial models, processes, and reporting for new planning processes and requirements.
  • Oversee various elements of the Support functions budgets, monitoring actual cost development vs. forecasts.
  • Provide key support and leadership in ongoing strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Create and drive cost efficiency analysis and execution, focused on areas of cost and value.
  • Build presentations for key stakeholders, including the R2Net Leadership Team.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred (MS/MBA a plus).
  • 3-6 years of experience in external audit, advisory, consulting, or Investment Banking with analytic and information-driven experiences.
  • Experience with information systems and related tools for staging and deploying information.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Experience working with large amounts of data is a must.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel expertise).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of SQL/Python is a plus.
  • Proficiency in other languages.
  • Big 4/Consulting/Investment Banking experience.
