About the position

Are you passionate about driving sustainability and making a significant impact? As a Project Management Manager at Walmart, you'll lead key initiatives in Private Brands, Global Sourcing, and Merchandising to develop and embed social and environmental sustainability strategies. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leaders and leverage Walmart's resources to create meaningful change.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with Walmart's business objectives and values.
  • Collaborate with merchants and suppliers to integrate sustainable practices into the supply chain.
  • Identify and assess sustainability risks and opportunities and develop strategies to address them.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into business processes.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies within a large organization.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to identify sustainability risks and opportunities and develop effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating sustainability initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes related to sustainability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 4 years' experience managing cross-functional projects for governmental or non-governmental organizations, consulting firms, or corporations OR 7 years' experience managing cross-functional projects for governmental or non-governmental organizations, consulting firms, or corporations.
  • 4 years' experience managing project teams in a matrix environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Developing and managing project budgets for governmental or non-governmental organizations, consulting firms, or corporations.
  • Making public presentations.
  • Master's degree in International Business or related field.
