The Sr. Manager of Chain Analytics & Improvement leads a team of capable employees to support end-to-end supply chain analysis and process improvement. This role involves developing data analytical capabilities to understand trends and test narratives, creating Master Data Management elements to capture and segment data into actionable information, and leading Continuous Improvement concepts across planning, purchasing, warehouse/logistics, master data, and systems work streams to decrease ideation-to-result cycle times. The incumbent is also responsible for creating and managing network KPI reporting and scorecarding to departmental goals and performance, as well as assisting with supply chain budgeting and forecasting. In this position, the manager will develop and lead a team of analysts to establish, maintain, and analyze divisional data to model alternatives proposing best outcomes within initiatives and supply practices. The role requires analyzing current outcomes to clearly understand opportunities for improvement across the supply side functionalities. The manager will assist in and support the long-term planning, strategy, and business change management processes across the Supply Chain function. The Sr. Manager will lead and drive complex multisite cross-functional initiatives through change management in pursuit of a world-class vision. This includes analyzing data extracts from varied systems and databases within current and future scaled business tools and systems to solve problems and propose solutions. The manager will assist in prioritizing initiatives to meet divisional goals by defining benefits, specific improvement steps, milestones, and lead times. Additionally, leveraging Lean and Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement concepts and techniques will be essential to guide teams through focused improvement initiatives such as Standard Deviation Work, Process Mapping, Value Stream Analysis, and Waste Identification. The role also involves creating “Plan vs Actual” tracking of key milestones and data points throughout processes, reporting outcomes, and suggesting focused prioritized improvements, as well as assisting in budgeting and forecasting of rolled-up multi-site supply chain operations.
