About the position

As a Senior Manager in Merchandising Operations - Supplier Excellence, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes, focusing on Problem Freight. Your role involves managing daily operations, resolving escalations, analyzing data for efficiency improvements, and leading a team to ensure seamless merchandise flow through distribution networks and fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

• Direct resolutions and respond to escalations of daily issues.
• Analyze data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies.
• Research and analyze the root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and return-related issues.
• Conduct performance reviews of the merchandising department, distribution centers, and suppliers.
• Lead a team of resolution specialists that drive ticket resolution and respond to escalations of daily issues.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external partners, communicate expectations and agreements, and lead audit processes.
• Approve flow path channels from supplier to store and track the movement and arrival of goods.
• Provide guidance for the execution of operations and address performance-related issues with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working and manage the correction of errors processes.
• Identify customer and operational needs, develop business plans, and support continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 6 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
• 2 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to write SQL statements and use report writing software (Powerbi/Tableau).
• Previous General Merchandise Operations Experience.
