About the position

The Sr Manager, Supply Chain is a critical role in driving our overall strategy and solving complex issues related to our Supply Chain Automation Transformation. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work cross-functionally with multiple areas of the business on the implementation of state-of-the-art automation in our facilities. The role is based at our Home Office in Bentonville, AR and reports to the Sr Director Supply Chain. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of supply chain strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive cost savings. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that automation initiatives align with the company's goals and objectives. Your ability to analyze data and provide insights will be essential in evaluating the effectiveness of current plans and initiatives, allowing for informed decision-making and continuous improvement. You will also be tasked with managing budgets and costs associated with projects, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively. Your experience in program management will be crucial as you lead cross-functional teams to address complex supply chain challenges. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders will be vital to your success, as you will need to communicate clearly and concisely about project statuses and outcomes. Resilience in the face of setbacks will be important, as you navigate the complexities of supply chain operations and automation transformation. This role is not just about managing processes; it's about making a significant impact on the company's supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the overall strategy for Supply Chain Automation Transformation.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple areas of the business to implement automation initiatives.
  • Manage budgets and costs for supply chain projects.
  • Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of current plans and initiatives.
  • Provide clear and concise communications to stakeholders regarding project statuses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Oversee job-related activities and assignments to ensure alignment with company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area, or 6 years' experience in the same fields without a degree.
  • 2 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Dispatch and Fleet Management.
  • Knowledge of Network Analysis and Retail Logistics Operations.
  • Master's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Six Sigma Certification.
