The position is responsible for collaborating with supply chain teams to enhance inventory planning and execution, aiming to achieve best-in-class performance levels. The role involves ensuring that processes and practices are established to maintain optimal fulfillment capabilities while minimizing costs. The individual will develop inventory and fulfillment best practices tailored for internal customers and will be tasked with identifying and implementing supply chain improvements throughout the organization. This includes assessing the quality of the current external customer fulfillment experience and devising strategies and metrics for improvement. Additionally, the role requires identifying and implementing cost reductions within the supply chain function across various lines of business. The individual will apply internal and external benchmarking, along with best practice studies, to supply chain processes to create top-tier performance levels. A key aspect of the role is partnering with the Loss Prevention team to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce inventory shrinkage. The position also serves as a liaison to various business functions, including Finance, Sourcing, Strategic Business Development, EHS, Distribution & Logistics, to drive initiatives toward successful implementation. The nature of the solutions required in this role involves thorough analysis and investigation. Achieving planned results will depend on decisions and actions grounded in professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. The position may involve recommending or making decisions regarding new programs or initiatives that significantly impact the business, with potential consequences for unsuccessful endeavors. The role also includes managing a larger team or multiple small teams through the direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
