In this role as Senior Manager, Supply Chain, you will take your career to the next level in the field of supply chain management. Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead supply chain operations. You will design and carry out effective strategies to streamline operations and boost overall efficiency, while leading a team of supply chain professionals. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine demand forecasts, developing inventory management strategies, and establishing strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services. You will also oversee quality control processes, monitor supply chain performance metrics, drive cost reduction initiatives, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the team.

Responsibilities

• Design and carry out effective strategies to streamline supply chain operations and boost overall efficiency.
• Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure flawless execution of supply chain activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine demand forecasts and develop inventory management strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
• Oversee the implementation of quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through effective negotiation and supplier management.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and effective strategies to successfully implement innovative supply chain solutions.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning within the supply chain team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise of at least 8 years in supply chain management, emphasizing process improvement and effective decision-making.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams that consistently achieve exceptional results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.
• Strong drive and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strict adherence to ethical business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
