About the position

The position is responsible for leading talent acquisition activities for the organization, focusing on field supply chain recruiting. The successful candidate will partner with senior human resource management to develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives. The individual will provide strategic direction to both corporate and field recruiting teams, ensuring that recruitment processes are aligned with the core values, mission, and vision of the organization. The role requires a strong emphasis on process optimization, where the candidate must demonstrate expertise in identifying, analyzing, and optimizing recruitment processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This includes implementing process improvements that reduce time-to-hire, enhance candidate experience, and streamline workflows. The ability to leverage technology and automation to optimize talent acquisition processes is essential for driving continuous improvement. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing scalable talent acquisition processes that support organizational growth. This includes standardizing recruitment practices across multiple regions or business units to ensure consistency and efficiency. The role also involves data-driven decision-making, where the candidate must utilize data analysis tools to drive strategic talent acquisition decisions and develop metrics to evaluate and enhance performance. Team development is another critical aspect of this position, as the candidate will be expected to build, lead, and mentor high-performing recruitment teams. The individual should foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that drives engagement and results. Furthermore, the candidate must stay informed about current and emerging talent market trends and leverage market research to adapt talent acquisition strategies accordingly. The position also requires extensive experience in partnering with senior leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with organizational goals, as well as the ability to present data-driven insights and recommendations effectively. Project management skills are necessary to manage complex recruitment projects from inception to completion, leading cross-functional teams to achieve project goals within scope, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of 3 Recruiting Managers and 20+ Recruiters focusing on field supply chain recruiting.
  • Develops and implements an enterprise-wide recruiting plan that identifies gaps and focuses on acquiring talent to meet current and future needs.
  • Manages, mentors, and coaches the corporate recruiting and field recruitment teams.
  • Initiates and implements recruiting processes, policies, and services aligned with the organization's core values, mission, and vision.
  • Develops metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure the success of the recruitment function and improve performance.
  • Prepares budgetary recommendations that meet departmental goals and manage resources effectively.
  • Optimizes the applicant tracking system to manage the entire candidate process.
  • Ensures compliance with government regulations and optimal employment practices.
  • Provides direction and consultation to senior management on strategic and emerging recruiting trends.
  • Manages external resources, including recruiting firms and other employment-related vendors.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying, analyzing, and optimizing recruitment processes.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements that reduce time-to-hire and enhance candidate experience.
  • Ability to leverage technology and automation to optimize talent acquisition processes.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing scalable talent acquisition processes.
  • Proficient in utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies for strategic talent acquisition decisions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing metrics and KPIs to evaluate talent acquisition performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, leading, and mentoring high-performing recruitment teams.
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging talent market trends.
