About the position

The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Blattner Company is responsible for overseeing the talent acquisition processes and strategies while ensuring compliance with employment laws. This role involves designing and managing a corporate workforce planning process that aligns with business requirements and forecasts workforce supply and demand. The manager will partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to execute enterprise-wide workforce planning strategies, lead recruitment efforts across various levels, and enhance departmental effectiveness through innovative practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee talent acquisition processes and strategies while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Design and manage a corporate workforce planning process that meets business line requirements.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop and execute workforce planning strategies.
  • Lead ongoing forecasting for attrition and changing market conditions.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, report on staffing projections, and manage the recruiting team.
  • Collaborate to recruit and hire candidates using innovative recruiting and sourcing techniques.
  • Lead all aspects of talent acquisition from high volume craft labor to executive recruitment.
  • Seek ways to improve departmental effectiveness by streamlining work and increasing technology use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource or related discipline.
  • Ten or more years of HR sourcing and full cycle recruitment experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience leading others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials preferred.
  • Ability to travel out of state occasionally.
