About the position

The Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition at Blue Origin will lead a team of recruiters to support the hiring needs of various business units. This role focuses on building relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborating with HR to meet organizational growth and talent requirements. The manager will ensure the talent acquisition team consistently delivers a pipeline of top-quality candidates while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the evolution of the talent acquisition team towards a strategic and consultative partner with the business.
  • Partner with leadership and HR to implement plans that drive efficiency improvements for aggressive hiring goals.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of recruiters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs and align on delivery goals.
  • Implement Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility priorities and drive related initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on hiring targets and talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, feedback, and professional growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience, including highly technical roles.
  • 3+ years of experience directly managing a team.
  • Expert level proficiency with recruiting systems and platforms.
  • Experience developing systems and processes for efficient operations.
  • Ability to understand and use data for strategic planning.
  • Ability to earn trust and maintain positive relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven track record of building and supporting a successful team of recruiters and sourcers.
  • Experience in technology, engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace/space industry.
  • Self-starter comfortable leading through ambiguity.
  • Prior startup and high growth environment experience.
  • Workday experience.
