About the position

The Senior Manager Technical Product Management role at Johnson & Johnson involves leading the Treasury squad within the Corporate Business Technology (CBT) division. This position is responsible for managing Finance applications on Treasury platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and delivering innovative technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to drive the technology strategy for Treasury, oversee multiple initiatives, and ensure the successful delivery of projects that support global Treasury services.

Responsibilities

  • Set a clear vision for the product and manage multi-generation product strategy.
  • Maximize ROI by identifying and prioritizing product features based on business value.
  • Define and execute global strategies and solutions in partnership with the business.
  • Negotiate with business stakeholders to prioritize development work and manage backlogs.
  • Participate in business planning activities to identify future demands and ensure appropriate funding.
  • Drive business process improvement initiatives and champion change management efforts.
  • Partner with the business to define drivers and requirements for programs/projects.
  • Track progress of Treasury system development within the larger project portfolio.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates to Business and Technology Leadership teams.
  • Lead projects of medium to large complexity and act as a liaison between Technology organizations.
  • Interact with suppliers and vendors to evaluate software, hardware, or services.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in applied economics or IT.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance and/or Technology and Treasury domain knowledge.
  • Experience with SAP Technology is required.
  • People leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing matrix-based project teams including internal resources and contractors.
  • Experience managing complex global projects, processes, and systems.
  • Experience with modern cloud-based application delivery (such as SaaS).
  • Business case/value case management experience.
  • Hands-on project management skills.
  • Experience with software validation in regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of core application development principles and SDLC methodology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in leading teams and managing work through the full system lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on experience supporting an application portfolio.
