As a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management (TPM) on Capital One's Enterprise Machine Learning team, you will play a pivotal role in executing high-priority enterprise-level initiatives that align with critical business goals. This position is at the forefront of Capital One's commitment to Machine Learning (ML), which is seen as a transformative opportunity in the financial services sector. The Machine Learning Experience (MLX) organization is dedicated to building and delivering platforms and intelligent customer experiences that enhance responsible ML across the company. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with product, engineering, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams to create roadmaps, define program scopes, establish milestones and success metrics, and develop scalable, secure, and efficient ML products and platforms. In this role, you will be expected to think big picture, present to executive stakeholders, and hold engineering teams accountable for overarching delivery goals. You will also contribute to the growth of the TPM discipline within the team by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to demonstrate the impact a great TPM can have. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, particularly in building highly scalable platforms, products, or services, and will have the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is a quantitative approach to problem-solving and a systems-thinking mindset. Your role will also involve managing program communications with key stakeholders at all levels across the company, ensuring transparency and timely information sharing. You will serve as the connective tissue across functions and business units, fostering collaboration, improving decision-making, and delivering value for customers from end to end.
