About the position

The Technical Project Manager / Account Manager at CapTech is responsible for managing large and complex consulting engagements while building strong relationships with clients. This role requires adaptability in various technology-driven project environments and focuses on ensuring exceptional delivery and identifying new opportunities for client service. The position involves hands-on delivery work, risk management, and advocating for digital accessibility in all projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large and complex consulting engagements successfully.
  • Develop and communicate integrated project plans and roadmaps.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery.
  • Perform hands-on delivery work including analysis, design, and change management.
  • Own one or more Statements of Work (SOWs) and ensure superior project delivery.
  • Proactively identify and drive new opportunities to serve client needs.
  • Lead proposal and SOW efforts, introducing new CapTech service offerings.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and immerse in client culture.
  • Advocate for digital accessibility and inclusive design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of proven account management or relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably with full agile development life cycle experience.
  • Consulting industry experience is ideal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient at managing diverse teams across different locations.
