About The Position
Assists in managing Waste Management’s $9 billion financial assurance program, which consists of surety bonds, letters of credit, corporate guarantees, insurance policies, bank guarantees, and escrow/trust agreements. Manages and performs advanced analyses and assists in high level recommendations on a variety of treasury and financial assurance activities including cash and investment management; financial assurance portfolio structure and cost; managing the Company’s captive insurance subsidiaries and financing activities such as bond transactions, share repurchases, and leasing. This position will actively participate in special ad hoc and cross-functional projects and collaborate with both internal customers and external service providers in order to carry out a broad scope of responsibilities within the Treasury and Risk Management department.
