About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Trigger & Lifecycle Email and acquisition to join our Retention Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and scaling trigger and lifecycle email programs with a customer-centric approach. This person will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email campaigns that drive customer engagement and retention. The Senior Manager will work closely with data and external vendors to refine program outcomes and achieve business goals. Additionally, this role will lead the email, SMS, and Push acquisition initiatives, developing and executing strategies aimed at driving file growth within the retention channel, and monitoring the file to ensure monthly and yearly goals are met. We are looking for someone with start-up experience to bring that same level of dedication and innovation to our team, along with strong financial rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, build, and optimize the end-to-end trigger and lifecycle program.
  • Develop and execute strategies aimed at driving file growth within the retention channel.
  • Monitor the file to ensure monthly and yearly goals are met.
  • Aim to double the current contribution of the trigger & lifecycle program within email.
  • Identify key segments and opportunities for targeted customer journeys.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement using data and analytics.
  • Enhance email program capabilities and outcomes by working with external vendors.
  • Ensure the email marketing strategy remains cutting-edge by staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure all strategies and campaigns are consumer-centric.
  • Continuously test and learn to optimize the trigger & lifecycle program for better performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in growing trigger and lifecycle email programs with a successful track record.
  • Experience in building and scaling programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with external vendors and managing vendor relationships.
  • Experience with DTC brands or brands with a very strong digital-first presence.
