About the position

In this role, you will lead a team of full-stack software engineers responsible for developing and supporting the core features of the UX Framework at ServiceNow. This includes managing product development activities, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members and solving complex problems within the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of full-stack software engineers responsible for core features of the UX Framework.
• Build and support the core framework including metadata modeling and compositional UI.
• Partner with product/App BU teams and core platform teams to enhance UX capabilities.
• Manage product development activities and daily operations of the development team.
• Work with product management, design, and support teams to create high-quality solutions.
• Mentor and grow engineers at various levels within the team.
• Solve complex and ambiguous problems that arise during development.
• Manage departmental resources and staffing to maintain a best-in-class engineering team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with relevant technologies and advanced coding skills.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers at various levels.
• Ability to lead team members with minimal oversight.
• Experience in providing direction and delegating assignments effectively.
• Familiarity with open source tools and agile development environments.
• Fluency in one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby, Shell, JavaScript).
• Ability to understand broad concepts and develop solutions for complex problems.
• Experience completing projects based on company priorities and desired outcomes.
• Knowledge of best practices and coding standards relevant to the role.
