The Senior Manager - Visual Merchandising is a pivotal role at Shiseido, responsible for the design, development, and implementation of in-store visual programs and events tailored for Shiseido and its retail partners, including prestigious names like Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Macy's, and Sephora. Responsibilities include adapting seasonal global concepts into tailored 2D and 3D design proposals for specific U.S. retail channels, such as department store visual weeks, retail outposts, pop-ups, and in-store events. The position also involves creating schematic design drawings, 3D renderings, and planograms for approvals from global headquarters and U.S. cross-functional partners. The Senior Manager will ensure consistent communication and transparency with brands and cross-functional partners in a shared service environment, manage vendor collaborations for producing and pricing on-counter visual merchandising elements, and create print-ready art files for new launches and seasonal updates. Additionally, the Senior Manager will oversee visual merchandising maintenance from the opening of new stores and throughout ongoing operations. This role requires building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, including brand marketing teams, store design teams, field and sales teams, and retail partners, while also liaising with HQ/global VM teams for design alignment and approvals.
