About the position

The role involves ensuring timely delivery of services related to Financial Reporting and all internal and external reporting requirements within the Group and Country deadlines. The candidate will work with a cohesive team to produce reports and analyze material movement accurately and promptly, escalating any breaches in SLAs to the Line Manager. The position requires exercising diligence, control, and governance to comply with Data Quality and Reporting Expectations, ensuring that reports generated align with expectations. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting Key Performance Indicators, ensuring month-end book closure, and compliance with new reporting standards. The candidate will prepare various financial reports, gauge stakeholder requirements, and collaborate with different teams to improve process controls and efficiency. The role also emphasizes ethical conduct and compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of financial reporting services.
  • Deliver services within SLA and escalate breaches to Line Manager.
  • Maintain diligence and governance to comply with Data Quality and Reporting Expectations.
  • Monitor, validate, and report all Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure closure of month-end books and knowledge of intercompany reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare various financial reports and assist in governance activities.
  • Coordinate with peers across different teams.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve process controls and efficiency.
  • Embed ethical standards and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • MBA Finance or Qualified CA.
  • Good analytical skills and knowledge of reporting standards.
  • Experience in Finance & Accounts, including journal entries and month-end book closure.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements.
  • Understanding of Financial Instruments and Non-Financial instruments.
  • Experience in supporting analytics for variances.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Basic Excel functions and ERP (General Ledger Module) working knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with IAS and IFRS financial accounting standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to client requirements.
