About the position

Witt O'Brien's is seeking a Senior Manager to develop and implement strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale projects, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Give work direction and delegation, provide technical advice, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) to track progress and recommend improvements to processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, departments, and stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Review project proposals to determine time frames, funding limitations, and staffing requirements.
  • Plan and develop methods and procedures for implementing programs.
  • Identify potential issues and principles that further resiliency and sustainability in planning initiatives.
  • Lead analysis, development, implementation, and revisions of strategic plans and actionable products.
  • Ensure high-quality service to all clients and maintain the firm's reputation for superior client services.
  • Prepare project reports for management and clients.
  • Manage and track complex project plans, budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Achieve financial targets, utilization, profitability margins, and project budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business development work.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership and team management.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Experience with business process reviews and improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or CFA.
