About the position
The Senior Managing Consultant for Environment and Health Sciences and Agrochemical Compliance will serve as a subject matter expert in agrochemical and biological registrations in the United States. This role involves leading the agrochemical regulatory practice, providing strategic advice to clients, and managing projects within an interdisciplinary team. The consultant will engage with clients to ensure project delivery and client retention while contributing to sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provides innovative and strategic advice to clients that demonstrates depth of scientific knowledge and regulatory insight into federal and state agrochemical and biological pesticide registration
- Conveys expertise of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) regarding agrochemicals regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Demonstrates and articulates an understanding of client needs and develops project scopes
- Produces high-quality work products on time and within budget
- Manages assigned projects/tasks providing critical thinking and thought leadership in areas of expertise
- Responsible for client retention through great project delivery
- Engages with potential new or existing clients to build credibility and scope potential client engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or other scientific subject
- 10+ years of experience in working with agrochemical or biological products
- Consultancy firm experience
