About the position

The Senior Manufacturing Accountant at Twin Disc is responsible for overseeing cost, manufacturing, and inventory accounting functions at the Racine facility. This role serves as a key finance partner to support the financial needs of the manufacturing team, ensuring accurate data reporting and analysis while maintaining the cost accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Cost Accounting system within JDE, including annual cost roll and revaluation of standards.
• Review standard margins and variances for assigned product lines monthly.
• Perform costing analysis to develop material and labor standards.
• Participate in inventory management by reviewing standard costs for appropriate inventory valuation and control.
• Support financial planning and analysis for the manufacturing team.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA or MBA desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis and/or manufacturing accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of JDEdwards preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience in production control, cost accounting, budgeting, and inventory control.
