About the position

The Senior Manufacturing Accountant at Twin Disc is responsible for overseeing cost, manufacturing, and inventory accounting functions at the Racine facility. This role serves as a key finance partner to the manufacturing team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis to support operational needs. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while interacting with various levels of personnel within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Cost Accounting system within JDE, including annual cost roll and revaluation of standards.
• Review standard margins and variances for assigned product lines on a monthly basis.
• Perform costing analysis to develop material and labor standards.
• Participate in inventory management by reviewing standard costs to ensure appropriate inventory valuation and control.
• Support the financial needs of the manufacturing team related to data, reporting, and analysis.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis and/or manufacturing accounting.
• Strong background in production control, cost accounting, budgeting, and inventory control.
• Working knowledge of JDEdwards preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
