As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Radiation Safety Technology, you will be at the forefront of advancing manufacturing processes for innovative radiation detection and protection products. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the production of these critical technologies meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Research and Development (R&D) and Product Engineering, to facilitate the transition of new products from prototype stages to full-scale production. Your expertise will be essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing excellence and operational efficiency. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for new product introductions, ensuring that these processes are scalable and adhere to stringent quality standards. You will lead and support process validations, equipment qualifications, and tooling designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Your role will also involve driving cost reduction initiatives through process improvements, yield optimizations, and the application of lean manufacturing techniques. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and guidance on manufacturing issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Establishing and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions will be a key part of your responsibilities. As a mentor, you will train junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
