The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will support the Factory's leadership team through support of factory wide efforts. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will support the factory operations by alleviating technical and logistical issues, providing corrective action for quality issues, and provide optimization for design and manufacturing opportunities. Applying manufacturing engineering skillsets across the extended value stream to resolve constraints and improve process and product designs is a key responsibility. The role involves leveraging knowledge and technical skills to influence business decisions and results from new designs to recurring production. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will design, control, and improve the producibility of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team. Additionally, this position requires leading and coordinating projects, efforts, and improvements across the extended value streams, acting as the manufacturing and producibility authority within the program, and mentoring and training manufacturing engineers. Identifying and resolving constraints across the program, participating in corrective action investigations, and providing technical input and peer review to engineering design changes are also essential functions of this role. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to factory engineers, ensuring that the manufacturing processes are efficient and effective. This position is critical in maintaining the quality and integrity of the manufacturing operations, ultimately contributing to the success of the factory and the overall mission of Raytheon.

Responsibilities

• Applying manufacturing engineering skillsets across the extended value stream to resolve constraints and improve process and product designs
• Leveraging knowledge and technical skills to influence business decisions and results from new designs to recurring production
• Designing, controlling, and improving the producibility of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
• Leading and coordinating projects, efforts, and improvements across the extended value streams
• Acting as the manufacturing and producibility authority within the program
• Mentoring and training manufacturing engineers
• Identifying and resolving constraints across the program
• Participating in corrective action investigations
• Providing technical input and peer review to engineering design changes
• Providing technical guidance and problem solving to factory engineers

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
