The role requires participation in various boards such as the Change Control Board, Material Review Board, and Failure Review Board, where the engineer will act as a key stakeholder. The responsibilities are diverse, necessitating sound judgment in analyzing situations or data. The engineer will develop manufacturing processes, process plans, assembly instructions, and capacity plans, while also reviewing designs for manufacturability and producibility using industry-standard tools.
