The Senior Manufacturing Engineer position at our Needham Heights, MA location offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a proven track record in manufacturing engineering. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling the manufacturing process value stream. This includes estimating production cycle times, labor requirements, and related costs to provide critical information for management decisions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering and shop personnel to resolve design problems that impact manufacturing procedures and costs. You will lead mid to high-level manufacturing projects, providing direction, guidance, and engineering expertise to team members. Additionally, you will spearhead Continuous Improvement teams through Kaizen events, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient and effective. Your responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining Gantt charts, project schedules, risk assessments, and contingency plans. You will be expected to deliver formal presentations to leadership regarding project status and meet with team members periodically to review SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) boards and CONC Metrics. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
